Grande vencedora do VMA 2015, Taylor Swift também lidera as indicações ao MTV Europe Music Awards, o EMA. A cantora concorre em nove categorias, incluindo três indicações para seu clipe "Bad Blood". Justin Bieber aparece em seguida, com seis indicações.
O Brasil também está na disputa prévia na categoria Brazilian Act (melhor performance brasileira). Pela segunda vez consecutiva, Anitta,MC Guime e Projota estão no páreo para ser eleito o representante brasileiro na premiação. Eles disputam a vaga com Emicida, que já havia sido indicado em 2013, e Ludmilla.
O EMA 2015 será transmitido ao vivo no dia 25 de outubro do Fórum Mediolanum, em Milão, na Itália. A votação está aberta em mtvema.com.
